I’m re-blogging this PIECE OF GENIUS again because someone left a comment: “I am definitely… Kinda/very ashamed of this. oops.” I’m kinda/very ashamed of you. No “oops” to add.
This is brilliant and it is love. Dear Quad Cities community: this song and music video is called A Nite In Rock Island by Chief Big Films and I’m very proud of it, Rock Island, and the greater Quad Cities area. Turn your speakers up! Hands in the air! Press play!

One item RAYGUN is known for is their City Shirts: shirts highlighting the witty, odd, and ironic places in Iowa - both big and small!
I find these a great way to find people on a new campus who live near you. Wear your shirt once in awhile, and you’ll randomly have people coming up to you saying “Hey, I live near there! I love the shirt!”
mmmmmmm best ice cream place. Ever.
i want this inside me. and he’s right^
So, this might technically be an “Illinois” post. But let’s be honest, Iowa can claim this one too. Never had Whitey’s before?! Be sure to grab some on your way through Iowa City, or the Quad Cities!!! :D
This is what our downtown area looks like. The local riverboat casino has been moved for now. This time of year always makes me sad.
Apparently spring in the Midwest is having an identity crisis at the moment. It snowed this last weekend, it snowed some today with wind, and then rain, thunder and lightening!
